Ok, I admit it. I'm obsessed with fonts. A fontaholic, if you will. There are certain fonts that just make me want to poke my eyes out (you know who you are, Times New Roman) and anyone over the age of 12 who uses comic sans really should know
better. Other loathsome fonts include Arial (just so dull) and courier (nuff said). This is being typed in Trebuchet. Ah, a classic font that puts a spring in my step. I get my font-fix at Font Diner, a fine purveyor of fancy retro fonts. My favourite? It's got to be --------->
I just wanted to thank you for commenting on my new blog. I appreciate it. Yours is very nice. The dogs are so cute! Thanks again! Kathy

ReplyDeleteI also love those fonts, I use refreshment stand with my shop sometimes. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of Arial...it is plain, but I leave my colorful writing skills to convey the message! *Laughs* Comic sans is just never acceptable-there I must concur.

ReplyDeletehe,he,we are in love with typography too! We had a fab old Adana printer in its original box with tons of accessories but never had time to use it..more's the pity...went on ebay.. B x
ReplyDeleteAhhh, fonts! 'Trebuchet' has become my standard font of choice, too. But, when I'm feeling uppity, I go straight for 'Nottingham'.
ReplyDeleteRecently, I picked up a few choice, free fonts at dafont.com Seeking a specific something for a t-shirt design that relates to math. Haven't found it yet, though.
gosh, I always thought comic was easier to read than some of those stodgy fonts. Oh well, 40 going on 12 it is!
ReplyDeleteHummm, another font person here.
ReplyDeleteBut I use Arial/Helvetica endlessly, and Times New Roman as well.
I will agree with you on Courier however which is one of the worse fonts ever.
