Happy Holidays!

Why do Americans say "Happy Holidays"? It's not really an expression used here in the UK, but in a bid to please my US-based customers I thought I'd try it out on a new greeting card.

Do you like it?

The reason Americans say Happy Holidays is because New Years and Christmas are so close, plus to avoid offending anyone who doesn't celebrate Christmas, such as those who celebrate Chanukah or Kwanzaa.

Love the card!

A question we often wondered about ourselves.

They are ALL lovely Christmas cards.

I think, it's to do with that polically correct thingy re not offending other religions!!!

But, its Christmas to me and I'm not religious @ all.
Love the card.
By the way - how did you get Snowy to pose???

We all say different things depending on where we are. If we work in a public place that wont allow us to express ourselves then we say Happy Holiday.

Love the card!!

I am definitely a doggie person but am still a poor college student living in an apartment so getting a kitten was the only reasonable solution to my pet desire.

Prudence is my first pet I've ever had! Unless you count the chicken I raised in third grade for six weeks. haha!

Thanks for the comment!

hey there,

love the cards and just bought three for my family!

I was wondering about Jackson's back story, you say he's a rescue dog?

Our hooman would like to buy some of your cards.

She likes the Airedale card and the Christmas cards.

Would it be a good idea for her to collect them on 7th December?
