Fox Terrier Fun Walk, April 2015

© Daryl Burton
Yesterday saw our 13th Fox Terrier Fun Walk in Brighton, UK, which we co-hosted with Diana from Terrier SOS.

We had a record number of attendees, with 88 dogs (and their accompanying humans, of course). There were:

57 Wire Fox Terriers
13 Welsh Terriers
4 Lakeland Terriers
3 Wire Fox Terrier X
2 Glen of Imaal Terriers
2 Norfolk Terriers
1 Airedale Terrier
1 Irish Terrier
1 Patterdale Terrier
1 Bedlington Terrier
1 Smooth Fox Terrier
1 Miniature Schnauzer
1 Jack Russell

The walk followed its usual format. We met at Brighton Marina at 11.00 and after registering the dogs and their humans, sauntered along the Undercliff Walk to the Ovingdean Gap Cafe. Here we stopped for refreshments, with many terriers playing off lead on the beach, A number continued on to Rottingdean for lunch before strolling back across the cliff tops to our starting place. Another group headed directly back to the Marina, stopping at different cafes on our return.

A huge thank you for everyone who turned up and made this such a lovely occasion. Our award for those travelling the furthest must go to Hélène & Clément with Dolly & Naya for visiting from France.

Daryl from Burton Photography, took a marvellous group photo (see above), which can be purchased directly from him, see following details:

Thanks, Karli, it was very noisy, as I'm sure you can imagine. I'm sure that someone else in the world holds the record for the largest terrier gathering, but I will check :)
